Dayhanara Peña is a doctoral-prepared Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for preventive medicine, health optimization, and compassionate patient care. Dayhanara Peña began her nursing career after graduating with honors from Boston College's Connell School of Nursing. She spent years caring for critically ill patients at some of the nation's leading academic medical centers, including Massachusetts General Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Tufts New England Medical Center before relocating to Tampa. She later served for more than a decade at Moffitt Cancer Center, providing advanced critical care to oncology and bone marrow transplant patients. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida with high honors and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She subsequently completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree while serving patients through USF Health. At Inertia Medical, Dayhanara Peña combines her extensive critical care background with a proactive, patient-centered approach to wellness. She works closely with patients to optimize metabolic health, hormone balance, cardiovascular wellness, and healthy aging while helping them build sustainable habits that support long-term vitality. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dayhanara Peña is known for her warmth, attention to detail, and commitment to helping patients feel empowered, educated, and supported throughout their health journey.
