Dr. Ambrose Chazhikattu is a board-certified internal medicine physician who has over a decade of experience caring for patients in Tampa. His approach to primary care is built on trust, time, and a deep understanding of each patient. He earned his medical degree from the nationally renowned St. John’s Medical College in Bangalore and completed his Internal Medicine residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, affiliated with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. His broad clinical experience spans primary care, hospital medicine, complex medical care, and geriatrics, giving him a comprehensive perspective on caring for adults through different stages of life and health. Today, Dr. Chazhikattu brings that experience to a more personalized approach to primary care, with an emphasis on prevention, early detection, cardiometabolic health, healthy aging, and thoughtful management of chronic conditions.
